Lloyd-Thomas Consultancy in partnership with Portsmouth University will be running an Engineering Metallurgy: Understanding and Applications course in September 2017. We are very pleased be partnering the School of Engineering at the University of Portsmouth in running this new three day course which we believe will be of great benefit and interest to both companies and students.

The School of Engineering in Portsmouth has a growing reputation in engineering and technology and offer a range of courses (please visit their website www.ports.ac.uk for further information). This partnership adds to the strong links we already have with a number of colleges and training organisations and allows us to strengthen our training portfolio and to provide courses to an even wider audience.

The course will be presented by Dr Clayton Thomas of Lloyd-Thomas Consultancy and Dr Saranova Simandjuntak who is a senior lecturer in materials at the School of Engineering. The three day course will also include a practical session run in the School of Engineering which will allow people to get some hands on experience of looking at and testing materials.
